Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPosition Overview:\nThe Production Supervisor is located in Nacogdoches, Texas. As a Production Supervisor, you will direct departmental activities and initiate/participate in cross-functional activities to accomplish the objectives of safety, quality, on time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement, which focuses on removing cost from the business.\nIn this function you will:\nDrive Zero Incident Safety Culture\nAlign Eaton Quality System priorities to department requirements\nManage department operations and prioritize production requirements\nFacilitate shift activity among other department supervisors\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and contributing towards becoming a lean organization\nInitiate and coordinate assistance as required from support departments\nCreate the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardize work processes are followed, countermeasures implemented, and the area is compliant with safety requirements\nReview daily in-process inventory reports to determine and assign priorities\nAssign daily work schedules for direct and indirect labor to meet business goals\nMonitor and provide coaching follow-up for performance regarding safety, quality, and productivity\nMonitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders, as required, to ensure efficient, effective, and safe working conditions\nCoordinate and maintain associate clerical files regarding attendance, overtime equalization, vacation, training, and time-off requests\nManage department expense budgets\nConduct daily tier meetings regarding communications, department and plant concerns, and policy interpretation\nProvide training resources within the department\nLead cross functional team to improve processes and meet plant objectives\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/operations environment with 1 year of leadership experience OR High School Diploma/ GED from an accredited institution with 15 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment with 2 years of leadership experience\nRelocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Nacogdoches, TX will be considered.
