In a matrixed environment, this role will lead a program team of controls and software developers across the globe through clear and concise communication, goal setting and demonstrating good decision making amongst project ambiguity. Collaborating across time zones and engineering stakeholders to align program schedules and dependencies to create a master software plan. In addition, this role will be responsible for project proposal/timing estimations for new project or RFQ activity.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, An MBA, advanced degree, or relevant project management certification is a plus.\n10-12 years of Software industry experience with mix of engineering development and Program execution\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience supporting or providing project management within embedded software development-related projects.\nSkills:\nRequired\nExposure to embedded software development within the Automotive Industry is preferred.\nFamiliarity with processes and tools for requirements management, change management, and configuration management.\nFamiliarity with software test methodologies and tools and the development of test plans for embedded systems.\nBasic knowledge of functional safety and development processes compliant with safety standards (for example, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508).\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.\nBasic knowledge of software quality assurance requirements (for example, Automotive SPICE) and their relationship to Quality Management System requirements (for example, IATF 16949) and external auditing processes.\nDesired:\nStrong ethics and values, with the ability to collaborate and build alignment with others.\nAbility to manage assigned projects and activities, prioritize work, and deliver results with guidance as needed.\nAbility to provide clear customer communication through verbal and written forms, including presentations, with guidance for complex or sensitive topics.\nStrong attention to details and multi-tasking skills\nGood verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare status reports and technical presentations for internal leadership and customers with review and guidance as needed.\nGood interpersonal skills, with the ability to present
