This role combines hands-on engineering design with project management responsibilities, ensuring that new systems and equipment are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.\nAs a Project Engineer, you will act as a technical driver throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through installation, commissioning, and handover to operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nElectrical & Testing System Design\nDesign electrical systems, schematics, layouts, and system architectures for project and testing needs.\nDevelop and review technical specifications for electrical and test equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements.\nEvaluate and select suitable technologies and solutions to meet project and testing objectives.\nPerform technical calculations relevant to electrical design, including sizing, load, and safety calculations as needed.\nProject Management & Execution\nPlan and manage assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource needs.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.\nIdentify project risks and implement mitigation actions to keep projects on track.\nTrack project costs and progress, and provide status updates to management.\nCommissioning, Validation & Technical Support\nSupport the commissioning and validation of new electrical and test systems, including hands-on troubleshooting.\nProvide technical guidance to project teams and production during installation, start-up, and handover phases.\nResolve technical issues arising during project execution and testing to minimize downtime and delays.\nDocumentation & Collaboration\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, test plans, and commissioning reports.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and external partners to align on technical requirements.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and working methods within the team.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field\nYou have gained at least few years of professional experience in electrical engineering, testing systems, or industrial project work and are eager to continue developing your expertise.\n\nSkills:\nSolid understanding of electrical systems, test equipment, and related technologies used in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with electrical design and safety standards is expected.\nThe ability to build effective relationships and communicate successfully with diverse stakeholders across the organization\n\nGood organizational ability and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving. \nA collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and a continuous improvement mentality, with the flexibility to embrace new ways of working and develop new skills.\n\nFinnish and English language skills are essential for effective collaboration with local stakeholders and business partners.\n\nWhat we can offer to you:\nContract in fast growing global company\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\nGreat promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible\nExcellent working environment - safety and ethic are really important for us\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
