We're seeking a Project Manager - Power Systems Controls to drive the successful execution of controls and power management projects from award through completion. This is a remote role with approximately 10% travel.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlan, establish, maintain, and regularly update a project schedule for assigned projects\nCoordinate with Team Leaders to assign engineering resources and provide performance feedback\nMonitor, control, forecast, and report costs on assigned projects within estimated project margin\nManage engineering response to customer emergencies and warranty issues\nEstablish and manage contracts between Eaton and its customers & suppliers\nReview customer specifications and bid documents, and issue change orders when necessary\nTechnical coordination between internal team members, Eaton factories, third-party suppliers, and customers\nDocument control and distribution to customers and suppliers\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 5 years of project management or project engineering experience OR minimum 10 years of field service, project management and/or proposal generation experience with electrical power distribution systems and high school diploma\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\nExperience with electrical power distribution systems, equipment, installation, and field services\nPreferred qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution\nPMP certified\nMinimum 5 years experience with the implementation of automatic transfer schemes\nPosition Criteria:\nSubmit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.\nSuccessfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.\nExpertise and experience with all project management competencies, including Microsoft Project\nBasic understanding of power distribution systems, equipment, and automatic transfer schemes\nExperience with factory testing and field start-ups\nExperience developing technical proposals according to customer and internal requirements\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
