This position is located at our Manhattan, KS facility. This site has approximately 65 employees and is a leader in commercial and military aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work.\nHours for this position are typically Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional mandatory overtime.\nThe hourly rate for this position is $19.48 per hour.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThis role reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for performing receiving, in-process and/or final inspections of component parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.\nIn this function you will:\nInspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.\nApprove in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.\nApprove finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.\nDocument inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.\nVerify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.\nMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
