Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton's Bethel, CT facility is a premier manufacturer in the aerospace industry specializing with creating components for commercial, military, and space technologies. Our team helped support the recent Artimus 2 launch with 65 parts from the plant used in the launch.\nThe Quality Control Inspector (Document Control) will support our QC department. This role involves extensive, detail-oriented documentation for package creation.\nIn this role, you will:\nOrganize, maintain, and manage electronic files and folder structures within the Windows file system.\nCreate, rename, move, archive, and retrieve documents according to established file management procedures.\nUse Adobe Acrobat to:\nArrange, reorder, insert, extract, and delete PDF pages.\nRotate pages and correct document orientation.\nCombine multiple PDF files into complete document packages.\nVerify document quality and completeness.\nPerform accurate data entry and data maintenance in Microsoft Excel.\nApply and manage Excel data validation rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nCreate and maintain conditional formatting rules to highlight exceptions, errors, and key data trends.\nReview spreadsheets for completeness and correct data discrepancies.\nCreate, maintain, and execute Microsoft Word mail merge processes using Excel data sources.\nPerform quality checks to ensure document accuracy, formatting consistency, and data integrity.\nMeet established productivity, quality, and turnaround time requirements.\nRead and interpret blueprints of machined and electronic parts\nPerform dimensional inspection of machined parts using calipers, micrometers, drop gages etc.\nInspect electronics for soldering conformity.\nValidate that supplier certificates of conformity meet engineering specifications\nInspect and certify quality control paperwork. Transact operations on electronic systems.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a quality functional role in a manufacturing environment required.\nExperience working with Adobe Acrobat Pro\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
