This position is based at our Milton, Ontario location.\nThe hourly range for this role is $30-$35 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Quality Coordinator’s primary function will be to improve the organizational effectiveness through the coordination of Eaton Quality Management System (QMS) activities to support the business’ growth, productivity, and quality objectives. Specific responsibilities include generating and maintaining quality reports/KPI accurately, QMS deployment, cost out initiatives, process improvement activities, and culture change to continuous improvement.\nIn this function you will:\nServe as Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME). Provide support to other areas in the quality tools\nProcess owner for Iso 9001:2015 internal and external audits and carrying activities related to auditing.\nResponsible for supporting all departments to achieve their goals regarding cost savings.\nParticipate in activities to improve quality of Manufacturing/Business processes.\nLead, coordinate and facilitate different department/production floor related to day-to-day quality issues like RCA (root cause analysis), raising 8D/CARs for non-conformances and quality issues.\nPoint of contact for reporting quality KPIs (key performance indicators) for plant as well to corporate office.\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities like VSM, 5S+ and Standard Work events, structured problem-solving events, Kaizen Events and other Lean activities in the plant.\nAnalyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and come up with pro-active actions to mitigate potential risks to product and customers. Coordinate with test teams for customer’s witness tests.\nChampion the Find-It Fix-It process including support of all areas in the plant in capturing improvements and monitoring progress.\nChampion activities related to Eaton health and environmental system (MESH).\nMentor other employees in the identification and elimination of waste, including training.\nLead activities to achieve a reduction in the elements of (CoNC) Cost of Non-Conformance - warranty, scrap, rework, reactive maintenance, premium freight and excess & obsolete inventory.\nClosely work with Leadership Development Program (LDP) employees during their term to support them in achieving the goals and expectations when applicable.\nOther activities assigned as required\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nUniversity degree or college diploma from an accredited institution.\nMinimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.\nMust be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.\nNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 120 KM of Milton, ON to be considered.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUniversity degree or college diploma in engineering.\nKnowledge of quality tools/techniques and continuous improvement methods.\nExperience or certification in Six Sigma.\nExperience with Project Management.\nCertified ISO 9001:2015 auditor.\nExperience in a fabrication/assembly environment.\nSkills:\nDemonstrated proficiency with PC & Microsoft Office tools.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong analytical skills.\nUnderstanding of the basic concepts of problem-solving and analytical techniques (A3, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).\nEaton has in place accessibility policies for accommodating employees with disabilities.
