Driving robust corrective actions to avoid repeated failures and to minimise the risk of quality escapes.\nWork closely with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including approval authorities.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlan and carry out a schedule of RCCA, to ensure suppliers continue to work in compliance with Ultras flow downs and regulatory standards.\nProactive Management of Quality Issues identified to drive robust root cause and corrective actions.\nSupport of Quality Selection, Onboarding or Transfer of Work process, control of risk and collaborating with other departments to bring in Right-First-Time items from the supply chain.\nPlan and aid product and manufacturing process audits\nCreation/implementation of quality plans.\nCompletion of contract reviews to support production and repairs.\nOn site Source Inspection or Release at Source, where required.\nRegular review and reporting of Value Stream associated Quality data and facilitating action plans to drive continuous improvements.\nDay-to-day on hand support to our suppliers for Quality related queries.\nTaking customer requirements and ensuring appropriate flow and implementation to our supply chain, where applicable. \nQualifications:\nCertified lead Quality Auditor training\nEducation linked to Engineering Qualifications\nExperience in:Aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100, EASA Part 21, Part 145 etc)\nOther aerospace topics e.g. FOD, counterfeit avoidance etc.\nProcess Measurement techniques (e.g. SPC, KPIs, etc .)\n\nSkills:\nHas a proven range of Quality/Business Improvement experience\nProven experience working within a quality management system\nExperience with auditing\nAbility to read and understand engineering drawing and design requirements\nKnowledge of manufacturing environment and working with a supply chain\nGood communication skills demonstrated both verbally and in writing in the form of presentations and recommendations for improvement\nWorks effectively with others\nDemonstrated experience in building good working relationships and gaining trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders\nPlans work and delivers on time\nDemonstrates a “Can do” positive attitude\nUse own initiative within the scope of the role\nMakes timely decisions within the scope of the role\n Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)\nKnowledge and understand of basic hand-held metrology equipment\nUnderstanding of other inspection and measurement techniques, and any associated limitation\nWillingness to travel on business, with overnight stays as required.\nKnowledge of FAIR process, APQP/PPAP or ISAR.\nUnderstanding of special processes such as Anodising, Surface Treatment such as Painting and Electro-plating, PCBA manufacturing.\nWhat we offer:\nOpportunity to work in a global, highly collaborative environment\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\nStrong focus on learning, development, and career progression\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nA culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
