This role will take place at our growing facility in Greenwood, SC. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.\nIn the Quality Engineer role you will drive the implementation of the Eaton Lean Six Sigma program and the Eaton Quality System program to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and meet mandated Eaton Business System (EBS) goals. You will provide professional engineering support, technical guidance and manage project responsibilities for the documentation/execution of major projects within the manufacturing and engineering functions. You will provide support customers as well as travel to customer locations (10% annually).\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide quality assurance support to our customers.\nDevelop and monitor manufacturing quality procedures, standards, training activities, and communication programs.\nPerform the necessary audits of the plants’ operations to evaluate opportunities for implementation of various Eaton Lean System and Eaton Quality Management System improvement initiatives.\nDevelop and coordinate problems and activities to assess and improve manufacturing processes and product quality.\nUtilize Eaton lean and quality tools to drive cost reduction and improve working capital performance.\nSupport other key plant processes and provide cross-functional support as directed.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
