At Eaton, we’re dedicated to enhancing quality of life and protecting the environment with our innovative energy management technologies and services.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Quality Engineer will lead quality readiness for MES deployments across EMEA manufacturing sites, ensuring quality processes, data, controls, testing, and users are prepared for successful go-live. Support deployments through hypercare and stabilization while ensuring compliance with global MES and quality standards.\nMain Responsibilities:\nLead quality readiness assessments for MES deployments, identifying gaps, risks, actions, and site readiness requirements.\nTranslate quality requirements into MES workflows, master data, controls, test scenarios, reports, and acceptance criteria.\nEnsure readiness of key quality processes including inspection, nonconformance, traceability/genealogy, rework, scrap, tester data, and First Pass Yield (FPY).\nCoordinate quality User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring effective test coverage, defect resolution, retesting, and readiness before go-live.\nProvide hands-on quality support during deployment, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring rapid containment and resolution of quality-impacting issues.\nPartner with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, MES Process Owners, IT, and implementation teams to resolve process, data, integration, and system issues.\nDrive root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions for recurring defects, data inconsistencies, workflow failures, and integration issues.\nSupport MES expansion to additional production areas and continuously improve deployment standards using lessons learned and best practices.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Operational Excellence, Digital Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related areas.\nPractical experience with quality assurance/control, inspection and testing, nonconformance, traceability, PFMEA, Control Plans, and structured problem solving.\nExperience with MES, ERP, QMS, PLM, or similar manufacturing-system deployments strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of APQP/PPAP, ISO 9001, quality auditing, and manufacturing quality requirements.\nExperience with MES deployment activities such as readiness assessments, data preparation, UAT, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.\nExperience with SAP and Dassault Systèmes Apriso preferred.\nFluent business English; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.\nSkills:\nStrong understanding of manufacturing quality assurance and quality control.\nStrong knowledge of traceability, genealogy, nonconformance, rework, scrap, tester data, and FPY.\nStrong quality risk assessment, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action capabilities.\nAbility to translate quality requirements and risks into MES processes and system requirements.\nStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.\nHands-on, shop-floor-oriented approach with the ability to remain structured during go-live and quality escalations.\nStrong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional and multi-site teams.\nClear communication and collaboration with operators, engineers, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams.\nComfortable with changing deployment priorities and frequent travel across EMEA.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nFlexible working solutions\nExcellent working environment - safety and ethics are important for us\nCulture & Values - we are more than the products we invent and produce - the way we do business is just as important.
