Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision inspection equipment. The role requires the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, understand and apply GD&T requirements, and evaluate product characteristics against aerospace standards and specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of inspection methodologies, quality assurance principles, and aerospace manufacturing processes while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.\nSafety Sensitive Position - Drug & Alcohol Testing\nThis position is classified as a safety sensitive role under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Additional information is available from the site Designated Employer Representative (DER) or the FAA Drug Abatement Division: About the Drug Abatement Division | Federal Aviation Administration.\nIn this role, you will:\nRead and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment\nUse knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nBe familiar with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100\nInteract with co-workers and customer representative\nPerform verification inspection of Eaton’s supplier’s detailed components\nPerform verification inspection of Eaton’s product for compliance to customer’s requirements\nAssist customer source inspectors as required\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment\nMinimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.\nThis is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random testing under our Drug and Alcohol Abatement program.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
