This role will take place at our growing facility in Beaver, PA. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.\nThis role supervises Quality Technicians and leads continuous improvement initiatives as the “voice of the customer” for the facility. The position focuses on improving quality performance, reducing PPM, and ensuring compliance with the Eaton Quality System (EQMS), Eaton Business System (EBS), ISO 9001, and customer specific requirements.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSupervisor and develop Quality Technicians, including training, performance management, and accountability.\nLead continuous improvement efforts within the Quality Management System (QMS).\nDrive quality performance improvement, PPM reduction, and corrective action effectiveness.\nDevelop and implement quality tools and methodologies, including Control Plans, SPC, FMEA, 8D, capability studies, DOE, and Six Sigma.\nInterface directly with customers to address quality issues and drive resolution.\nEnsure compliance with EQMS policies, ISO 9001, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.\nDevelop and implement corrective and preventive actions, including verification activities.\nEstablish and monitor plant quality metrics and support division quality objectives.\nCollect, analyze, and report monthly quality data for balanced scorecards.\nHost customer and third-party audits (e.g., ISO, UL, CSA, customer-specific assessments).\nLead or participate in cross-functional teams for problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.\nCoordinate quality department activities in the manager’s absence.\nCollaborate with other functional teams to ensure effective quality system execution.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 2 years of quality, operations and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\nAt least 1 year of experience as a supervisor or leader of people.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited institution.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and/or Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification.\nTrained internal auditor (ISO9000 or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) and experience performing quality audits.\nSkills:\nExperience either managing or supporting ISO 9001 and Eaton Quality Management systems (EQMS).\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.\nStrong knowledge of metrology, including use of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, scales, CMM; programming preferred).\nProficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, capability studies, PFMEA, GR&R, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.\nFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.\nUnderstanding of ISO/TS standards, EQMS criteria, and quality system requirements.\nKnowledge of assembly processes and material flow within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.\nEffective problem-solving, teamwork, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
