Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton Mission Systems Division is looking for a Quality Supervisor that can work with a dynamic team at our growing Davenport, Iowa facility. The successful candidate will oversee an Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Quality function and support the quality organization in daily businesses.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nInterfaces with all Davenport Engineering disciplines and with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.\nProvides technical input on quality and contractual issues to internal stakeholders and external customers.\nLeads Quality Engineering Resources & Hourly Quality Inspectors for production support, customer concerns and product/process improvements.\nWork with Operations Managers and Bargaining Unit Leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met\nProvides guidance and keeps employees informed of policies and operational changes.\nLead corrective actions and validate corrective action effectiveness.\nParticipate in and lead Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP) improvements and execution.\nParticipate in quality, internal, external, and regulatory audits.\nAnalyzes production and service limitations and standards and recommends revisions of specifications when indicated.\nReviews technical documentation, provide guidance on updates and compliance/contractual requirements.\nDesigning, developing, and deploying metrics and dashboards to support business decision making.\nFormulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.\nDevelops and modifies procedural documents.\nPerforms all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles.\nIdentifies and effects change to reduce risks of harm and minimize waste and resources used.\nCommunicates to employees, visitors, and customers that health and safety and a concern for the environment are values for the company.\nInterprets engineering drawings and specifications, customer quality requirements, and company quality requirements to ensure compliance with the customer's expectations.\nSchedules overtime as required\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree OR Associate degree with minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control\n2+ years of experience with AS9100/ISO9001 (aerospace), MIL-STD, ISO13485 (medical), or IATF16949 (automotive)\nExperience with Root Cause Analysis Tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).\nNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered.
