The hours for this shift are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday.\nSalaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nIn this position you will:\nConduct required product inspections of precision machined components used in the Aerospace industry and maintain appropriate systems (ie. DR system, Quality log)\nAct as a quality resource for High Performance Work Teams which includes leading troubleshooting and problem-solving activities for quality related issues in the area\nConduct Training and Audits as required\nPerform Capability/Gage R&R Studies and other data analysis\nDevelop and maintain Quality Plan work instructions\nWork with Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer to reduce in process and final inspection time\nProgram and troubleshoot CMMs\nFulfill the requirements of the Quality Policy and Quality Management System\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.\nMinimum 3 year experience in a manufacturing environment working in a quality role.\nMinimum 2 year experience in GD&T application and blueprint reading.\nMinimum 2 year experience with inspection equipment and gaging methods such as calipers, micrometers, etc.\nThis position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.\nNo relocation is being offered with this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the North Charleston, SC facility.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCMM programming / troubleshooting experience with WinCMES, Calypso, or CMM Manager\nExperience in Troubleshooting Problems using quality tools such as statistics, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, etc.\nASQ Certified Quality Technician\nPosition Criteria:\nKnows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical / statistical techniques\nBasic knowledge and understanding of ISO/AS international standards\nConsistent knowledge and use of tools and techniques for measuring systems and devices as well as analysis and reporting\nWorking knowledge of AQP process as they pertain to PROLaunch, industry, regulatory and customer requirements\nHas worked in an environment with a certified QMS (ISO 9001 or similar)\nDemonstrates the use of metrics to measure and improve their own work\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
