This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility and will work Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.\n The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, documentation, and staging of incoming materials. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, material integrity, and proper system transactions while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential-and where you can help us reach ours.\nJob Functions\nUnload and receive all inbound materials, verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.\nInspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies, report and follow non-conforming material procedures when required.\nAccurately perform receiving and inventory transactions in SAP (goods receipts, transfers, and adjustments).\nPallets that go in the warehouse or crib racks need to be on a standard 36x48 pallet.\nLabel, stage, consolidate and move materials to designated storage, warehouse, crib, production locations, or. Person/s.\nCoordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Control, and Quality teams to resolve shortages or discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate receiving records and required documentation.\nSupport cycle counts, physical inventories, and internal or external audits as needed.\nFollow all safety rules, standard work instructions, and 5S/housekeeping requirements.\nParticipate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and problem-solving initiatives.\nCrosstrain and assist in other material handling or warehouse functions as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we - as individuals and as a company - are stronger.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent.\nHave at least one (1) year of experience in a production shipping environment (or similar environment).\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.\nCandidates must have a valid driver’s license.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.\nBasic knowledge in all functions of SAP related to shipping.\nBasic computer skills in Excel, Word and E-mail.\nAbility to operate sit down and stand-up forklifts.\nAble to perform multiple functions simultaneously in the shipping department (Pulling, Picking, Wrapping, Staging, Loading, Shipping Coordination, BOLs, Monitoring Picks, Securing Trailers, Moving Trailers).\n\nQualifications required within 6 months:\nMust be able to drive every type of forklift in the plant.\nSkills:\nPosition Criteria:\nAbility to organize, prioritize, multi-task and execute projects in a timely manner.\nAbility to obtain internal powered industrial equipment certification.\nExcellent verbal, written communication and math skills\nAbility to work without close supervision and work a flexible schedule.\nDemonstrate problem solving skills and ability to manage high volume of tasks and to be responsive to internal and external customers.\nAble to sign and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers, and process in a timely manner.\nAbility to reach, grasp and manipulate.\nAbility to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.\nMust be able to frequently lift, push, and pull objects that are up to 40 pounds without assistance, occasionally 50 pounds with assistance.\nRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.\nRequires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hands, arm and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas).\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
