Visit Eaton.com for more information.\nHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance\nCompetitive compensation packages\nPaid parental leave, holidays, and vacation!\nHealthcare/retirement savings programs with company match, Education/Tuition Assistance Program, Annual Wellness Reimbursement, and more!\nPosition Overview:\nThe Receiving Clerk reports to our Inbound leadership team and will be on day shift.\nIn this function you will:\nPhysically processes the receipt of unplanned receipts.\nSigns for packages and cargo accurately (piece counts) and notes shortages and damages in accordance with company policy.\nAnalyzes receipts to determine if they are customer returns, finished goods receipts for stock, or to be forwarded to the office for delivery to personnel or departments within the building.\nLogs and routes the receipts in accordance with departmental rules\nMaintains a clean, neat, and organized area.\nEngage with fellow team members and leadership with a positive attitude.\nProvides additional backup support for the receiving and reverse logistics departments\nIdentifies and communicates opportunities for system related or operational improvements to their direct leader.\nRecommends process improvements for area of responsibility\nWorks to maximize asset utilization to ensure proper process flow within the receiving area.\nImplement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.\nFosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.\nFollow company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced.\nDemonstrate ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.\nAll duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
