The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nResponsible for directing, assisting, and leading a group of employees performing various machining operations. Ensures workflow efficiency, quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols. Performs minor machine adjustments and supports production continuity.\nPerform threading, grooving, chamfering, turning, tapping, reaming, serrating, boring, facing, drilling, and similar operations on departmental conventional machines excluding hand turret.\nProduce a variety of parts from a variety of materials.\nMake minor tooling adjustments and resets to maintain specified dimensions.\nInspect first pieces and verify machine setup before releasing to operators.\nAdhere to machine safety procedures.\nOperate Single and Multi-Spindle Drill Presses and other conventional machines.\nLoad castings and bar stock to maintain continuous machine operation.\nWash and pack plated parts to support machine cycles.\nUse measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, verniers, scales) to verify part accuracy.\nDetect and report faulty operations or materials.\nOperate fork truck and hand trucks to move materials.\nMaintain clean, safe, and organized work area.\nPerform TPM activities including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening of bolts.\nPerform base clean outs as needed.\nQualifications:\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\nA minimum of one (1) year of experience in machining operations.\nMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
