Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Seals Development Lab Tech will set-up and operate multiple seal machines. They produce and check quality of a finished parts.\nIn this role, you will:\nComplete all of Skill Level III Operator requirements.\nDevelop processes and tooling for new & existing parts and provide recommendations for Engineering for modified tooling.\nSet up, program, troubleshooting, problem solving and operate of all cell machines.\nExpert on product and process knowledge for all parts produced in cell.\nTest new tooling and process & Analyze SPC charts.\nTrain production employees & successfully complete required certifications.\nMaintenance request process in QAD\nFollow SOPs and meet all Safety requirements.\nPerform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution.\nExperience working in the manufacturing environment.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. \nPreferred Qualifications:\n2+ years of experience in manufacturing.\nSkills:\nBasic Math, PC, and Microsoft Excel skills.\nStrong communication both written and verbally.\nRouter & Inspection report/documentation comprehension and preparation.\nNonconforming Material Comprehension and Nonconforming Material Form preparation.\nBasic Metrology Tools, Blueprint, SPC, & CMM knowledge.\nUnderstanding Preventative Maintenance Responsibilities, MFG Pro & QAD System.\nResourceful and innovative rework ability to set up & operate respective cell equipment to coordinate the transfer of manufacturing process to the production floor through training production employees.\nBasic knowledge of all forming techniques to create and modify router and process sheet for hand rolling & NC program for large and small Seals.\nPhysical Demands:\nOccasional lifting of up to 25lbs, carts are available for usage with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to stand and sit for duration of shift with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to turn handles on manual machines and use manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
