This role provides professional security services, controls facility access, patrols company grounds, responds to incidents and emergencies, monitors security systems, and maintains detailed records and reports. The Security Guard helps protect company assets while ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and customers.\nFibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Headquartered in Minden, Louisiana, Fibrebond is known for its engineered to order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects across North America. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton’s modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond’s strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana.\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide professional, courteous, and customer-focused security services to employees, visitors, contractors, and customers entering the facility.\nMonitor facility access points and verify authorization for entry and exit.\nConduct routine and random security patrols of buildings, parking lots, and company grounds on foot and by vehicle.\nPatrol all campus buildings, checking doors, windows, gates, and other access points to ensure facility security.\nMonitor and operate security equipment including surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarms, and other security technologies.\nRespond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and security concerns using sound judgment and appropriate problem-solving techniques.\nMonitor systems for fire, flood, weather-related impacts, and other facility hazards or damage.\nComplete incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation accurately and timely.\nMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the guardhouse and security work areas.\nCommunicate security concerns and incident details to management and emergency responders as required.\nAssist with emergency response activities and support site emergency preparedness efforts.\nFollow all company safety procedures, policies, and security protocols.\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience in security, physical access control, law enforcement, military service, first responder or a related field.\nExperience with computer systems and organizational experience.\nValid driver's license.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Minden, LA facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in security functions or physical access control.\nSkills & Physical Requirements:\nMust have strong interpersonal communication skills, use good judgement, and be professional.\nMust be physically fit, mentally alert, and emotionally stable to respond in the event of an emergency.\nMust be able to sit for long-periods of time, walk or stand, and work in all weather conditions.\nMust be able to work extended shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.\nMust be able to drive a vehicle if needed.\nMust be able to climb stairs or ladder if needed with or without reasonable accommodations.\nMust be able to patrol in the dark if required.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.\nMust be able to use a computer without difficulty, and effectively monitor computer-based camera, access control, and alarm systems, with previous knowledge of said systems a plus.\nMust be able to work 12-hour shift (day or night) on a 7-day rotation and maintain alertness.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
