Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton’s largest office in the region. What you’ll do:

• Assists in planning and performing internal audits and special projects to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, business processes, and procedures at Eaton operations.
• Perform audits in assigned areas, with minimal supervision, in accordance with audit programs to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, business processes, and procedures at Eaton operations.
• Assist with coordinating and performing annual SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) plan and key controls testing throughout the year.
• Prepare written audit findings and recommendations per internal audit standards for discussion with local management.
• Document audit work papers in a clear, concise, neat, accurate and timely manner.
• Participate in audit opening and closing meetings and in the review of audit results with local and senior management.
• Follow up on Management Action Plans and Audit findings remediation timely and effectively.
• Present Audits outcome in a professional, clear and concise manner to Senior Leaders.
• Participate to the Risk Assessment process, identifying risks and weaknesses and to the preparation of the Annual Audit Program.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices through the use of Eaton Business System and other relevant Process Improvement tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
• 2 to 5 years of audit experience (e.g., Big Four, internal audit). Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Proficient in internal audit key concepts (i.e., risks, controls, SOX) and financial accounting requirements (i.e., US GAAP) preferably in a manufacturing environment or significant experience with other industries.
• Proven experience in business processes understanding, identifying risks and weaknesses, developing and executing audit procedures to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate the risks.
• Strong process management and organizational skills. Ability to deliver high quality results and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven experience in documenting and testing controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English is a must (both spoken and written), language knowledge in German or French is a plus.
• Occasional traveling within EMEA (maximum 20%).
• Ability and desire to work in a dynamic, multicultural, multilingual and international environment, with colleagues located in other parts of the world.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly report key issues, business impact, and recommendations for improvement to management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote ideas and to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and general end-user computer skills.
