We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEPMS(Electrical Power Monitoring System) Service Engineer is responsible for the successful implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of EPMS solutions, primarily for data center and mission-critical applications.\nThis role will work closely with customers, project teams, Field Application Engineers, regional EPMS experts, and R&D/technical support teams to ensure reliable system deployment and ongoing technical support. \nPromotes product sales to existing customers and identifies potential new customers. Develops proposals, assesses customer needs in order to recommend appropriate products/services. Provides technical support to clients before/after the sale of the product, troubleshoots technical problems. May provide technical training to customers staff. Recommends product improvements to design staff in response to customer feedback. \nEPMS Project Implementation & CommissioningPerform EPMS installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and system validation at customer sites.\nSupport integration of EPMS with electrical equipment and monitoring systems.\nVerify system architecture, device connectivity, communication points, alarms, dashboards, and system functionality.\nIdentify start-up or commissioning issues and implement corrective actions.\nTroubleshooting & Technical Support\nProvide on-site and remote technical support for EPMS-related issues.\nDiagnose and resolve software, network communication, configuration, and equipment integration issues.\nPerform fault analysis and coordinate escalation with regional experts and R&D teams when required.\nSupport system repair, modification, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.\nCustomer Service & Lifecycle Support\nAct as a technical point of contact for customers during commissioning and after project handover.\nProvide timely response to technical inquiries and service requests.\nSupport preventive maintenance, system health checks, software/configuration updates, and troubleshooting.\nMaintain accurate service and technical documentation.\nDeliver technical training and OJT to customers and field engineers where required.\nCross-functional & Regional Collaboration\nWork closely with Project Managers, FAE/Sales, Field Service Engineers, and regional EPMS technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoordinate with R&D and product specialists to resolve complex technical issues.\n•Capture field issues and customer feedback and communicate them to relevant engineering teams for continuous improvement.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, or equivalent technical background.\nFor a period of 3 years or more, better for EPMS or SCADA products.\nHands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:\nEPMS / power monitoring systems\nSCADA / BMS / industrial monitoring systems\nElectrical commissioning\nIndustrial networking or communication systems\nData center electrical infrastructure\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.\nAbility to perform technical work at customer sites and collaborate with regional/global engineering teams.\nAt Eaton, we don’t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
