Transport materials within multiple work cells. Operate hand or fork trucks to move materials. Select carriers, schedule carriers, and expedite/de-expedite shipments. Work with government (MTMC) to arrange ocean shipping and complete all required documentation. Provide routine transportation/specialized service quotations to sales force. Create export documentation (commercial invoices, shippers export declaration, dock receipts etc.) as needed for each shipment. Inspect and transact incoming materials. Perform daily cycle count of inventory. Investigate root cause and report out on inventory discrepancies. Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions. Requires cross function collaboration to resolve internal issues, delivery issues and transportation information. Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.\nIn this function you will:\nAssist team in achieving plant and department goals.\nAssist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.\nFosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.\nEnsure compliance to Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals.\nOperate necessary conveyors and/or forklift to unload completed products into shipping department.\nGeneral knowledge of Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS).\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we - as individuals and as a company - are stronger.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 1 year warehouse or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
