We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPrimary Function:\nResponsible to design, validate and implement SMT manufacturing systems; including process documentation, control and optimization through the life of the product. An Engineer seeks and promotes the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes on current and transfers businesses.\nEssential Functions:\n1 Supports Production Area, contribute to the SQDCI metrics of the focus factory.\n2 Participate on required meetings related to the focus factory, participates in safety assessments and generate JSA and MOC (Job safety analysis and Management of changes).\n3 Manages SMT technicians for production support, program development, NPI support and other.\n4 Create, design, validate and implement manufacturing systems (assembly lines) including documentation (PFMEA, WIs, flow chart, procedures) and establishes and implement process controls.\n5 Participate on quality system improvements and implement changes accordingly through the APQP methodology.\n6 Develop and implement tools as per new or revised requirements (standard tooling) and new design fixtures for assembly (fixtures, stencils)\n7 Establishes preventive maintenance program for new assembly systems or stations.\n8 Deals with process abnormities, improves pass rate and decrease rejection rate and evaluates new components. Routing Management in the ERP system (SAP), implementation of standard work and improve line efficiency and seeks and promotes Cost Out Projects\n9 Develop and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives linked to an automotive mindset.\n10 Develop and implement product/process changes such as MCO’s, deviations and validations.\n11 Seeks and promotes the continuous improvement (Lean manufacturing system), Uses daily production data (yields/thru-put/etc.) to develop and execute corrective actions plans to drive continuous improvement.\n12 Routing management in the ERP system (SAP), Participate during layout changes.\nQualifications:\nBasic qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics (or similar).\n2-5 years of experience in SMT manufacturing and equipment areas and/or similar position.\nExperience/knowledge with process and equipment validation, PFEMA, process flow, APQP, etc.\nStrong knowledge in IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/21. Basic knowledge on CQI-17.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, proactive, strong organization and analytical thinker.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
