The role leads and develops the local sourcing organization, and partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Category Management to achieve business objectives.\nThis position is accountable for cost reduction, supplier risk mitigation, capacity readiness, continuity of supply, and the effective regional implementation of global and divisional category strategies.\n\nJob responsibilities\nLead and develop the sourcing organization supporting the Las Piedras and Haina manufacturing sites, establishing objectives, accountability, talent development plans, and succession readiness.\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies supporting approximately $120 million in annual purchases while ensuring continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence.\nPartner with Global and Regional Category Managers to align and execute sourcing strategies, providing market intelligence, supplier insights, and regional business requirements.\nDrive annual cost reduction and productivity initiatives through negotiations, value engineering, localization, resourcing, supplier innovation, and process improvements.\nLead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and supplier relationship management for critical materials and services.\nEstablish and sustain supplier performance management processes, including scorecards, business reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement plans.\nIdentify and mitigate supplier, capacity, quality, logistics, and business continuity risks through robust risk assessments and mitigation plans.\nEnsure supplier readiness, tooling availability, and capacity expansion plans support current demand, business growth, and new product introductions.\nLead sourcing support for critical supplier escalations and recovery activities to minimize operational disruption.\nPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to support business objectives, improve supplier performance, and execute strategic initiatives.\nApply structured project management practices to sourcing initiatives, ensuring accountability, execution, risk mitigation, and delivery of expected results.\nEnsure compliance with Procurement Excellence standards, company policies, and applicable procurement controls.\nQualifications:\nEducation level required\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.\n\nYears and area of experience required\nMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, supplier development, or manufacturing operations.\nMinimum 3 years of experience leading sourcing or supply chain professionals.\nExperience managing significant purchasing spend and complex supplier relationships in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and supplier risk mitigation initiatives.\nExperience supporting multiple manufacturing sites, countries, or business units.\nExperience implementing category strategies and influencing stakeholders in a matrix organization.\nSkills:\nTechnical knowledge\nStrategic sourcing and category strategy implementation.\nSupplier relationship and performance management.\nSupplier risk management and business continuity planning.\nSupplier capacity planning, readiness, and development.\nContract negotiation and commercial management.\nCost reduction methodologies and productivity management.\nTotal cost of ownership and should-cost analysis.\nLocalization, resourcing, and supplier diversification strategies.\nManufacturing processes and supply chain cost drivers.\nFinancial analysis, business cases, and savings validation.\nProject management, risk management, and structured problem-solving.\nData analytics and reporting tools.\n\nSoft skills\nProfessional proficiency in English and Spanish.\nStrong leadership and talent development capabilities.\nStrategic mindset with strong business and financial acumen.\nAbility to influence across functions, sites, and organizational levels.\nExcellent communication and executive presentation skills.\nStrong stakeholder and supplier relationship management.\nNegotiation and conflict resolution skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.\nAbility to lead through ambiguity, change, and business disruption.\nHigh sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.\nContinuous improvement mindset with a strong execution focus.\nAbility to prioritize competing business needs across multiple locations and achieve results through collaboration and leadership by influence.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
