Plan, lead and participate in the development of extensions to existing product lines and new products.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nDevelop projects through Pro Launch System focus on improvements.\nProvide technical soundness of design decisions and products changes to facilitate manufacturing, reduce cost, substitute material, improve quality and accommodate special customer needs.\nPrevent and correct manufacturing issues that affect product function ability\nPlan and execute design strategies that minimize the implementation on cycle time and cost. .\nSupport quality specification of existent products.\nPerform laboratory test according to the product.\nReview, control and maintenance of deviation system.\nResponsible to update, generate reports according to the area requirements\nWork with manufacturing plants on plans, processes and strategies to accomplish a trouble free introduction of products into manufacturing.\nRequest capital as needed in projects\nMonitor breaker testing results and performance levels and align product enhancement activities to drive a reduction in third party holds and increased endurance and design margins.\nInterface with test lab personnel and US engineering team to evaluate and resolve product holds.\nInterface with manufacturing and quality assurance personnel in establishing quality requirements and process controls for circuit breaker components, sub-assemblies, and final products. \nUse of PRO Launch on new product development and product line transfer.\nComply with EQS, Lean and Pro-Launch procedures and policies.\n- Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS):\n\nExecute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.\nAssist to all EHS training assigned.\nDIMENSIONS\nFill Rate\nCapital Expenses\nYield\nScrap Reduction\nResearch Investigation\nSales Volume\nBuying costs\nQualifications:\nSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:\nBachelor degree in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering\nMinimum experience of 3-5 years in similar positions.#LI-MB2\nBilingual: English/Spanish.\nComputer knowledge: MS Office, Familiarity with CAD tools - PROE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent (and drawing interpretation skills), AS400\nKnowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean, 6 Sigma and ISO9001.\nCompetencies: Thinks and Acts Strategically, Gets Results Through Self and Others, Build Organizational Capability, Demonstrates Eaton’s Leadership Style.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
