Drives continuous improvement in quality while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Eaton Quality System (EQS), would lead Quality process team utilizing Lean/Six Sigma tools and corrective action teams using 8D methodologies.\nExecutes the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure product flow consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements, and assuring compliance with the suppliers.\nEssential Functions:\nEffective management of the QA resources through Eaton Leadership Model.\nWork as a team with the support departments in order to define necessary actions to meet customer requirements.\nSupport Eaton Initiatives and practices for the Development of People by using tools as the Succession Plans, OCA, QLI, CIF, APQP and EBS tools.\nProvides Quality customer interface and expertise to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied, including assisting in complaint resolution and root cause and corrective action determination.\nSupports Supply Chain Management organization relative to the collection and analysis of supplier quality data providing expertise and assists suppliers with product and process quality requirements.\nParticipates in the auditing of internal Quality Systems and completes part approval documentation to assure that customer requirements are met in new or modified products and processes, including Suppliers’ Quality Systems.\nParticipates in product development and launch activities including identification of customer expectations, manufacturing and test support, reliability analysis, design reviews, evaluation of test programs, material testing.\nInvestigates and eliminates causes of quality problems and follows up on corrective actions, including issues with suppliers.\nParticipates in the design, procurement, maintenance, and evaluation of gages, measurement instruments, devices and test equipment.\nParticipate in the Customer Scorecards Review and support actions to improve their satisfactions as applicable\nCoordinate evaluations in the supplier performance to address those where risks are being identified with the Supplier Quality Team.\nSupport with the implementation and sustain for the Quality Initiatives, including PPAP and CAPA processes to support the Quality Lead Indicators.\nQualifications:\nBasic qualifications:\nMin 3 years Quality System experience in Aerospace Industry Preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\nBilingual English/ Spanish\nComputer Skills\nBlueprint reading knowledge\nPreferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):\nUnderstanding of problem-solving methods (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis)\nGood communication skills\nHigh Level of Interpersonal skill to work effectively with others.\nKnowledge of industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (ISO9001, AS9100)\nPrevious Aerospace experience preferred.\nGreen belt certified.\nMS or MBA\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
