This position is based at our Juarez facility.\nThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the maintenance operations. Provide maintenance and tooling support for the repair and upgrade of buildings, tooling, and equipment. Plan, implement, and direct all maintenance team members in an efficient and practical manner to maintain and repair existing tooling, equipment, and facilities. To meet objectives in quality, reliability, safety, costs and on-time delivery.\nThis individual recognizes areas of need and develops action plans to correct issues ultimately leading successful efforts to correct identified needs.\nIn this role, you will:\nDevelop, and maintain an effective workforce.\nRecruiting, supervising and training maintenance technicians\nSchedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department.\nReview and track progress on service orders.\nPeriodically Order all commonly used spare parts, supplies, materials and/or tooling and maintain an inventory.\nFrequency definition for preventive maintenance\nRoutine definition for preventive maintenance\nSpare parts process to register as new parts on SAP system/Wesco\nCreate/review LOTO specific procedures\nCreate autonomous maintenance procedures\nKaizen TPM\nTroubleshooting information\nMaintain equipment inventory lists (location area, services requirements)\nAccomplish on preventive maintenance in orders\n5 Whys on high cost spare parts and continuous uses\nMechanics parts documentation in drawings.\nFollow up in safety dispositive in equipment\nApprove emergency requisitions for replacement parts.\nEnsure that electrical and building codes are in compliance with applicable regulations, agency standards, and plant and corporate guides.\nPrepare proposals for recommended repairs vs. purchase or design of equipment and building, with estimated costs and bids. Confer with supervision in selection of vendors and contractors.\nReviews costs and takes action to eliminate or minimize unnecessary spending including consumption of supplies and machine parts.\nReview technical articles, catalogs, and manuals in order to select or recommend improvements in maintenance operations.\nMaintain files on master blueprints, purchase orders, work orders and maintenance manuals and logs.\nEnsure that critical plant equipment such as boilers, compressors, heating and cooling systems, electrical, plumbing, are maintained in an efficient, operable and safe condition. Conduct weekly maintenance and inspection of such.\nEvaluate and recommend long-term needs in relation to major projects and equipment tooling enhancements and develops an action plan.\nParticipate in lean manufacturing activities and coordinate activities such as line changes and new line installations, with area engineers and mechanics to minimize production down time.\nPlan, organize, and direct the tool room work flow to insure production of the tools needed to produce the quantity and quality of parts and products to meet customer requirements.\nCoordinate maintenance and grounds activities with other departmental supervisors and contractors.\nEvaluate new tool technology methods and processes to insure efficient operation and quality parts.\nConsult with plant engineering on new tooling and existing tooling modification.\nrecognize areas of need and develops action plans to correct issues ultimately leading successful efforts to correct identified needs.\nProtect the safety of teams’ members by assuring all safety and health rules by assuring all safety and health rules and standards are being enforced.\nEstablish a “5S” philosophy within the department.\nPerform any and all other job related tasks as assigned\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nBS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)\nMinimum 5 years of Background in maintenance rigorous manufacturing environment.\nMinimum 2 years of maintenance supervisory experience.\nStrong working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, building maintenance, construction, plumbing, heating and air condition, tool and die repair.\nSolid Works Knowledge\nComputer knowledge (Office: Word, Excel, Access).\nHigh level of communication skills,\nBilingual English/Spanish\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nSAP experience\nSkills:\nPosition Success Criteria :\nAble to plan and organize\nStrategic planning\nDeveloping Budgets\nTechnical leadership\nInitiative\nTeamwork skills\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
