If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLeverage technical expertise in manufacturing processes and Supplier Development Engineering (SDE) methodologies to support supplier qualification, product and process development, and launch readiness across the global supply base. Lead supplier feasibility assessments, execute APQP activities, and PPAP approvals to ensure robust, on-time, and safe launches. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and manufacturing readiness.\nJob Responsibilities\nConduct supplier qualification audits to assess quality, and technical capabilities against business and product requirements; perform periodic requalification audits to ensure ongoing compliance and capability.\nPerform supplier feasibility assessments in support of new sourcing activities and new programs to confirm supplier understanding of product requirements and manufacturing capability; participate in cross-functional sourcing decisions by providing technical and supplier capability input.\nManage APQP activities with suppliers from program kickoff through PPAP approval to ensure readiness for production.\nSupport and monitor Safe Launch activities following PPAP to ensure flawless, on-time, and stable production launches.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives through Focus Supplier Programs to address performance gaps, strengthen capabilities, and improve quality, delivery, and manufacturing robustness.\nSupport Supplier Quality Engineers in complex quality issues by contributing technical expertise to problem-solving activities, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective corrective actions.\nQualifications:\nEducation level required\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering\nYears and area of experience required\n4+ Years in Supplier Development or Supplier Quality\nStrong experience managing APQP activities with suppliers, ensuring successful product and process launches.\nFluent in English\n\nExperience developing and reviewing AIAG Core Tools documentation, including APQP and PPAP.\n\nStrong knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and quality standards.\n\nSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly forging, casting, and machining.\n\nExperience leading supplier development activities through PPAP approval.Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.\n\nExperience supporting supplier sourcing and qualification activities.\n\nKnowledge and hands-on experience with AIAG CQI requirements and assessments.\n\nAvailability to travel (México, USA) 75%\n\nTechnical knowledge\nManufacturing process (Cold Forming and Machining), AIAG Core Tools, Problem solving\nStrong experience in Forging, casting and machining\nSkills:\nSoft skills\nProject Management, Teamwork, Cominication skills\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
