They should also be open to new challenges involving tasks outside of their area of knowledge ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures at all times.\nAn Engineer at this level is expected to support the bid and proposal process by providing estimates for work packages within their own discipline, and may be coordinating with other disciplines to identify dependencies to ensure their own work packages can be delivered\nWhat you’ll do:\nCreate solutions and solve problems within own discipline.\nEnsure adequate contribution and challenges during design reviews \nContribute to technical/professional processes within own discipline.\nWork under minimal supervision to achieve engineering and manufacturing objectives on-time, on-quality and on-budget which will directly impact positive project outcomes. \nHelp to influence decisions by providing advice within closely related working teams. \nRemain aware of trends and emerging technology and tools within own discipline. \nAssist in the estimate engineering packages of work within own discipline and work with other disciplines to identify dependencies and ensure the deliverability of own work package.\nDevelop engineering competence under guidance of more senior engineers and plan for professional development\nContribute to the definition of standards and specifications around which others will operate \nWrite reports and present work undertaken at peer and design reviews.\nMaintain professional competencies required to perform at this level\nOccasionally carry out duties off-site as required.\nCarry out any other duties as reasonably required by management.\nQualifications:\nRelevant qualifications to an appropriate level, typically a Bachelor’s Degree, a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience, with significant experience within a relevant complex engineering environment.\nSkills:\nPossess a good understanding of concepts and principles in own disciplines and a basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplines. \nExperience working in own discipline on a range of tasks within a relevant context. \nPossess a basic understanding of how different areas of the business interact to achieve their overall objectives. \nAwareness of completing work packages within a complex engineering environment.\nContributing to work package estimation, risk identification and dependency management.\nPossess a basic knowledge of project and engineering lifecycles and a good understanding of own discipline activities at each stage of the lifecycle.\nAble to produce technical documentation engineering reports, salvage schemes, visit reports).\nPossess discipline and job specific skills in accordance with the Engineering Competency Matrix.\nWhat we offer:\nOpportunity to work in a global, highly collaborative environment\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\nStrong focus on learning, development, and career progression\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nA culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
