Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton is looking for a Team Lead to support the 3rd shift production team.\nDrive improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI). \nPrepare a daily plan prior to the morning tier meeting. \nLead tier meetings and keep the tier board updated with current information. \nWork overtime as needed including working Saturdays. \nRegular coordination with department Supervisors on priorities. \nReallocate associates based on need. \nWork closely with supervisors to resolve issues and follow-up on preventative and corrective actions. \nAssist employees with technical or process issues such as inventory discrepancies, information, drawings, and procedures. \nPerform critical jobs or tasks to cover manning shortages as needed. \nAssure that the appropriate equipment and tools are provided, adequately maintained, and safely operated. \nAct as a backup in the absence of the supervisor. \nAssist in new hire onboarding. \nAttend leadership training sessions. \nWork closely with Quality technicians to ensure all products meet requirements. \nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nMust have a high School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution\nMinimum of one (1) year of production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.\nMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future \nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMinimum of two (2) years of previous production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. \nMinimum of six (6) months of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment \nSkills:\nPosition Criteria:\nAbility to communicate effectively in written and verbal format \nAble to work safely and produce effectively with minimal supervision.\nMust be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends with little advanced notice.\nAble to stand on feet continuously during working shift.\nAble to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. \nAbility to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nAbility to perform most functions of SAP related to production. \nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
