This position will be onsite at our Middlesex, NC location. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates residing within the United States.\nIn this role, you will manage and direct the Middlesex Weekend Shift operations to produce and ship product, at minimum cost, in accordance with engineering design specifications, quality standards, customer service goals, and profitability. You will be the first line Engineering point of contact for shop floor support on your shift. You will effectively communicate and work with all levels of plant personnel to complete your job function and meet safety, quality and productivity goals. This position follows a compressed workweek schedule, with hours from 8:00A.M. to 12:00P.M. on Thursday and 6:00A.M. to 6:30P.M. Friday through Sunday.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Follows Quality process and controls. Ensures that employees know the importance of quality and enforces follow through. Works with Quality Team to resolve issues and regularly reviews quality trends in the market. \nEnsure that production demands are met and/or exceeded on a daily basis. Able to direct team members on daily tasks and resolution of issues.\nFoster positive employee relations with direct reports and key stakeholders & a high-performing work team culture throughout the facility.\nEvaluate workload requirements and effectively delegate tasks accordingly to ensure proper and adequate manning to support production requirements.\nCoordinate production activities with supply chain, maintenance, and quality to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment\nAble to follow engineering processes (Temporary Changes, Control Plans, Engineering Change Requests) to support production and work with engineering on modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.\nProduce end of shift reports, data recording and logging, and support OEE efforts.\nProactively identifies opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and reduce Costs, also prioritize safety and develop solutions for open concerns.\nAble to adhere to, and improve manufacturing documentation, such as Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Visual Aids, Standard Work and other instructions.\nAble to support and maintain Engineering audit specifications such as quality assurance procedures, bill of materials, routings, FMEAs, and others.\nQualifications:\nRequired Basic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR a high school diploma from an accredited institution with four (4) years of equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical problem-solving skills.\nMinimum of three (3) years of leadership experience with direct reports and experience supporting Manufacturing, Operations or Technical processes. \nThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
