Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Tower Coordinator will manage the Tower Inventory.\nIn this function you will:\nManage and maintain accurate inventory of material assigned to the towers\nComplete Rack Audits on consignment stock to reconcile\nRecord pulled material for production as required\nEnsure all material is accounted for and the system is updated\nMonitor tower areas to ensure compliance with part removal\nAssist in material handling for production flow\nAdditional systems access and training required\nEffectively use windows-based programs as well as AS400 and VISTA\nEnsuring accurate transactions of consignment material to production\nRecognizing urgent requests from Supervisors and production employees with immediate action upon those requests\nAbility to support the Material Handling Team when needed\nUse of CI to improve the way we pull, store, and catalog consignment material\nSafely operate PIV equipment and adhere to added safety precautions\nComplete Daily Pre-Use Inspection of PIV equipment for damage or wear that would deem it unsafe to operate. Reporting any findings to supervisor or Maint. immediately\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2-year Associates Degree - highly preferred\nPrevious Supply Chain and/or Surplus / Warehouse Experience.\nPosition Criteria:\nUnderstanding of Kanban and other internal stock control methods\nAbility to deal with suppliers, supervisors, etc. in a professional manner\nAbility to work with internal customers, supervisors, and planners and changing schedules\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and in teams across plant and corporate entities\nMust be self-motivated and results oriented\nRequired to work flexible hours - overtime including weekends as necessary\nMust have appropriate written and oral communication skills\nStrong organizational skills\nExperience with reading and looking up Bill of Materials (BOM’s)\nExperience with AS400, MAPICS, Vista, and Enovia\nComputer experience - Microsoft Excel and Outlook\nAble to lift, carry up to 35 lbs.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
