This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager.\nIn this function, you will:\nDevelop and assist in the development of training documents.\nMaintain the training records and enter them in the training QMS to ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO requirements (14001 and 9001) and the Eaton Values and Philosophy.\nAssist in the planning and delivery of new hire orientation, coordinate orientation speakers, and activities.\nDevelop new classroom and hands-on new hire experiences. \nConduct training audits to verify quality of training and transfer of knowledge.\nUpdate the plant’s core training plan documents to ensure they reflect the correct job procedures and processes.\nWork with production supervisors to ensure on time training, cross-training plans, and completion of training.\nEnsure site’s overall training and pay for knowledge programs are effective (certify trainers and trainees, schedule functional assessments, NEO effectiveness, request and incorporate feedback from all parties) \nDevelop and maintain visual aids and training presentations. \nMonitor and update the annual training plan and schedule.\nProvide training to individuals and to groups if necessary.\nComplete special training or development projects such as but not limited to offline training.\nAssist and lead other HR activities as needed, including leading/participating on committees; assisting with event planning; and leading/participating in recognition initiatives. \nDevelop and maintain Industry 4.0 measures: Video work instructions creation and editing.Develop and edit Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs).\nManage training records in the Quality Management System (QMS).\n\nLead and/or participate in RIE’s, VSM’s, and projects to continuously improve training.Conduct regular meetings with Supervisors, Lead, and Trainers in the scope of training.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent (General Education Degree) is required.\nOne of the following is required.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience at Eaton\nOR a or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Training Role.\nMust have experience using Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
