Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.\n Position Overview:\nThe Value Stream Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable product to meet customer expectations. The Value Stream Manager (VSM) will be responsible for the supervision and development of both hourly and salaried resources within their High Performance Work Team (HPWT). The VSM will drive continuous improvement in production, quality and safety while utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).\nIn this role, you will:\n- Be responsible for achieving a zero-incident culture by completing and turning in safety observations\n- Escalate any safety concerns to EHS Manager\n- Own CONC Metrics and overall Quality Performance for the HPWT.\n- Direct priorities for the HPWT to achieve Delivery Goals.\n- Own the overall cost of the Value Stream.\n- Set the tone for improvement including idea generation and participation in Site CI initiatives.\n- Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members.\n- Provide the vision and strategy.\n- Lead by example - be a positive role model.\n- Actively engage and recognize employees.\n- Empower employees, provide resources and remove barriers for development.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum four (4) years of experience in mfg. operations or operations support\nMinimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
