You’ll own the monthly close and controls, forecasting and cash management, and the economics of our projects and clients, turning financial and project data into clear recommendations that shape business decisions. From budgeting, rolling forecasts, and a weekly 13-week cash view to management reporting and statutory compliance in Nepal and Australia, you’ll help ensure our financial decisions support sustainable growth.\nWe’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional who connects financial performance with business strategy, takes ownership beyond traditional accounting, and helps EB Pearls make smarter decisions, build stronger client partnerships, and create long-term value.\nTalent Spotlight:\nMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed university or CA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification,\nExperience with Australia and Nepal, including multi-entity reporting and multiple currencies.\nMinimum five years of relevant finance experience, including hands-on accounting management and substantial FP&A or commercial finance.\nExperience in a project-based services business, preferably software development.\nStrong Excel and financial modelling skills, with project-profitability and cash-forecasting experience.\nClear communication in English and Nepali, and the ability to explain recommendations to non-finance leaders and challenge assumptions constructively.\nExperience supervising and developing accountants, including documenting processes and cross-training.\nA proactive, commercially minded, solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement, with a high level of professional integrity, discretion, and accountability.\nThe Impact Zone:\n1. Strategic Financial Planning\nDevelop and maintain a rolling 12-month integrated financial forecast, incorporating revenue, delivery capacity, costs, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.\nLead quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and business plans.\nConduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess potential business risks, financial outcomes, and growth opportunities.\nMonitor budget versus actual performance, investigate significant variances, and recommend corrective actions.\nAnalyse revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, and other key financial indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\n2. Financial Operations, Controls & Compliance\nLead the Finance & Accounting team, overseeing daily operations, reconciliations, invoicing, payables, receivables, and financial records.\nManage cash flow, client collections, payment schedules, and financial commitments.\nEnsure timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and tax filings, including TDS and CIT.\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements in Nepal.\nCoordinate statutory compliance across Nepal and Australia, including TDS, SSF, VAT, income tax, BAS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.\nIdentify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring transactions comply with approved budgets and authorisation procedures.\nMaintain accurate, secure, and reliable financial data to support business decisions.\n3. Reporting and Business Partnering\nAnalyse project and client profitability, including contracted fees, contribution margins, resource utilisation, rework, write-offs, and cost-to-complete.\nReview project profitability and Estimate to Complete (ETC) monthly, identifying financial risks and recommending corrective actions.\nEvaluate client and service-line economics to support business growth, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.\nAssess pricing, discounts, contract terms, hiring, subcontracting, and investment proposals to ensure commercial viability and profitability.\nDevelop financial KPI dashboards and management reports covering revenue, EBITDA, cash position, runway, and key performance trends, with actionable insights and recommendations.\nPrepare financial reports and supporting information for Board and investor reporting.\nCollaborate with Sales, Project Operations, Marketing, and People Operations through regular financial reviews to discuss performance, forecasts, and business improvement opportunities.\n4. Team Leadership, Process Improvement and Oversight\nLead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.\nEstablish documentation and cross-training practices to ensure continuity of critical finance operations and reporting.\nReview and oversee the preparation of billing, payroll, reconciliations, and statutory records handled by the Finance team.\nMonitor procurement activities, supplier onboarding, supplier bank-detail changes, store counts, and maintenance-contract expenditure.\nDrive the development and maintenance of finance manuals, standard operating procedures, and reporting processes.\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting automation, and data accuracy.\nExpected Strengths and Competencies:\nStrategic Financial Leadership: Ability to align
