This individual will leverage deep Aerospace and Defense experience, strong engineering acumen, and trusted customer relationships to identify opportunities, develop differentiated solutions, and support profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a track record of leading cross-functional collaboration, managing complex opportunity funnels, and increasing bookings.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and manage customer relationships by understanding their priorities, challenges, and definition of value\nIdentify, qualify, and track opportunities while accounting for DoD budget timing and contracting processes\nLead cross-functional collaboration to develop differentiated solutions to complex customer problems\nGather and document customer and market intelligence to inform business strategy and internal priorities\nPrepare and deliver effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders\nDrive actions that strengthen competitive differentiation, improve margins, and increase bookings\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred\n10+ years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, with a background anchored in engineering through education, experience, or both\nStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to listen deeply, frame customer problems, and develop solutions\nProven ability to foster long-term professional relationships and help organizations win and grow together\nExperience managing opportunity funnels and driving year-over-year increases in bookings\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders\nStrategic thinker with experience developing and pressure-testing hypotheses through customer and market intelligence\nEnsign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
