EBAD seeks a skilled person for an Electrical Design Engineering position, reporting to the Electrical Design Lead.\nResponsibilities:\nThis role involves the electronic hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of circuit board assemblies and subsystems, with a strong emphasis on the design of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit boards.\nAs a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nPerforming circuit analysis and simulation\n\nCreating schematic designs\n\nConducting circuit board layout and routing\n\nPerforming risk analysis\n\nProducing accurate design documentation\n\nTroubleshooting and resolving hardware performance issues during integration, test, and verification\n\nYou will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle, including:\nRequirements definition\n\nConcept development\n\nDetailed design and implementation\n\nTest and integration\n\nOngoing product support\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years’ experience\n\nActive work experience in analog, digital, or mixed signal designs.\n\nThorough working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout expertise. Altium Version 20 or newer strongly preferred.\n\nThorough knowledge of circuit simulation software (LTSpice, or similar)\n\nActive work experience in performing electrical analyses:\nOperating Stress\n\nElectrical Worst-Case\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with DOD, SAE, IEEE, and/or IPC standards\nSafety Standards: RCC-319\n\nDesign Standards: IPC-222x\n\nKnowledge of FPGA/VHDL and/or embedded C development\n\nActive work experience in performing risk analyses:\nFMECA\n\nFault-Tree\n\nProficient with the use of diagnostics tools for “hands-on” testing and troubleshooting of PCBAs.\nDigital Multimeters\n\nOscilloscopes\n\nPower Supplies\n\nData Acquisition Systems\n\nEnvironmental Chambers\n\nStrong written and verbal communications skills\n\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications\n\nAbility to work well in a team environment\n\nEnsign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
