If this is the culture and work environment you are seeking, then EBAD is the place for you!\nJob Description\nEBAD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) with project management experience working in a manufacturing environment. The ME position reports directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Lead.\nResponsibilities:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer (ME) is the technical lead of the manufacturing processes of internal and external projects and is responsible for the implementation and execution of successful production activities.\nPrimary duties include:\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing documentation (including manufacturing instructions, routings, process specifications and tooling)\n\nSolving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures and implementing corrective actions\n\nProviding continuity during transitions from proposals to production by acting as the main technical liaison between the customer and EBAD.\n\nCoordination with other departments to ensure the production viability of new designs, creation of the required documentation, and internal and customer approval of documentation.\n\nInterface with production personnel including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors\n\nGenerate content for Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process 3P (Production Preparation Process), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and PHA (Process Hazard Assessment)\n\nImplementation of lean manufacturing methodologies including standard work, point of use tooling, material presentation and process improvements\n\nLead and Support Kaizen activities to support the Kaizen teams\n\nDevelop manufacturing cell layouts including tooling, machinery and equipment as needed.\n\nCreate standard work and contribute to manufacturing planning\n\nIdentify, lead, and implement Capital Expenditure (CAPEX/CAR) initiatives as related to manufacturing equipment, machinery and automated inspection equipment\n\nLead and support repeat/high volume projects by managing the customer technical documentation, manufacturing documentation and test documentation.\n\nBe a technical liaison for manufacturing process creation, validation and implementation\n\nTracking status and ensuring completion of operations milestones and tasks for production programs\n\nRequirements:\nThe successful candidate must have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering, industrial engineer, or manufacturing engineering or related manufacturing experience in multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.\nAdditionally, it is desired that the candidate has experience in the following areas:\n2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing\n\nProject management skills with the ability to document, plan, and execute projects related to manufacturing equipment and process improvement\n\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using formal problem-solving tools.\n\nDemonstrated ability of implementing of Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing methodologies\n\nFamiliarity with the Aerospace & Defense industry, AS9100, ISO9001 or other heavily regulated industry\n\nCAD, 3-D modeling, assembly creation, drawings and GD&T in SolidWorks\n\nDesign for Manufacturing methods and techniques\n\nMS Office proficiency - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio\n\nEnterprise/Manufacturing Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) systems.\n\nThis position requires good shop floor presence, and motivation to become a process subject matter expert.\n\nThe manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for investigations and daily floor support.\n\nCompensation: \nSalary Range: $95,000 - $140,000 per year.
