If this is the culture and work environment you are seeking, then EBAD is the place for you!\nJob Description\nThe Material Handler will perform a variety of tasks involved with inventory management, stocking, moving work in process, coordinating explosive quantity limits, packaging, and waste disposal necessary to facilitate efficient flow in our manufacturing cells. Responsibilities include:\nAdhere to all safety standards and written instructions.\nMaintain accurate physical and digital inventory in manufacturing cells including electronic movement of inventory in real time to keep up with physical movements.\nEnsure production cells are stocked with materials needed for production each day.\nMove parts that are work in processes through various departments at a regular daily cadence to support manufacturing flow.\nPackage parts for storage or shipment in accordance with strict Packaging Instructions / Specifications.\nComplete hazardous waste disposal tasks in accordance with guidelines and regulations.\nCoordinate with material control team on movement of product to and from warehouses.\nAudit inventory, including cycle counts, wall to wall counts, and spot checks.\nRequirements:\nPositive attitude, flexible, energetic, ability to work independently.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalency. \nAbility to read and understand written instructions in English.\nContribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.\nPreferred Skills:\nMaterial handling experience.\nExperience in Lean Manufacturing environment.\nExperience with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.\nEnsign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
