EBA&D products & capabilities set the U.S. standard and are highly sought after in the international community.\nEBAD seeks an accomplished engineer for the position of Supplier Quality Engineer reporting to the Manager, Supplier Development in our Moorpark, CA office.\nResponsibilities:\nImplement quality management plans.\nTactical support with NCR (nonconformance report) closure, root cause and preventive actions.\nSupports Supplier selection.\nPerform Supplier Audits.\nASL (Approved Supplier List) management.\nUtilize QA/QC tools for measuring supplier performance that affect our products and services.\nMeasure and improve Supplier defect rates.\nIssue internal and external supplier Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).\nPerform on-site source inspection.\nPareto NCR data within the ERP to help determine systemic challenges.\nWork cross functionally within the Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations organizations to deliver conforming parts, on-time.\nProvides advice and guidance in interpreting and adapting quality standards and government regulations.\nDrive improvements utilizing Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Problem-solving tools.\nAnalyze data effectively, summarize results, create reports, and use visual management tools effectively.\nWork with EBAD receiving inspection to identify and improve systemic supplier issues for acceptance of hardware.\nTrack action plans from supplier audits and assessments and monitor their activity for completion and correctness on a daily basis.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study required.\nSupply Chain experience is preferred.\nUnderstanding of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing practices, Problem Solving Skills and in-depth understanding ERP/MRP planning systems.\nMinimum of five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience.\nExperience with quality standards including AS9100, and NADCAP.\nProficient interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).\nMinimum of five years’ experience Problem Solving, RCCA, five-why’s. \nStrong skills in MS Windows, including World, PPT, Excel and Project.\nThe candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.\nExcels in a dynamic work environment.\nEnergetic, agile, and ability to work independently is a requirement.\nMust be willing to travel up to 50%.\n Compensation:\nSalary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
