What your day-to-day will look like

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with global clients and strategic business partners.
• Provide legal support throughout contract negotiations, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Partner closely with commercial and cross-functional teams, offering legal guidance on strategic initiatives and day-to-day business matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business-oriented solutions to support EBANX's growth.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring legal consistency and operational efficiency.
• Support the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and best practices within the Commercial Legal team.

What you need to shine in this role

• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to clearly present legal concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• High level of autonomy, accountability, and ownership, with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive projects to completion.
• Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to navigate different legal topics, products, and international markets.
• Business-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken), as this is the primary language used with global teams and clients.

Bonus points if you have

• Experience in the payments industry, banking, financial services, or the fintech ecosystem.
• Experience working in global technology companies or supporting cross-border operations.
• Familiarity with international commercial transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
