The organization drives customer trust, marketplace growth, operational performance, and financial outcomes by improving shipping experiences and strengthening authentication capabilities across our global network.\nWe are seeking a Director, Strategy & Operations to partner closely with the GM of Shipping & Authentication. This role will act as a thought partner to the GM and help drive the strategic agenda, operating cadence, and execution effectiveness of the organization. The leader in this role will connect strategy to action by bringing clarity to priorities, orchestrating cross-functional work, improving business rhythms, and ensuring leadership attention is focused on the most important decisions and outcomes.\nThis is a high-impact role for a leader who can move fluidly between strategy and operational execution, simplify complexity, and help a senior leadership team stay aligned, accountable, and effective.\nWhat you will do\nServe as a trusted advisor to the GM, Shipping & Authentication, helping shape priorities, frame tradeoffs, prepare for key decisions, and drive follow-through on the most important business objectives.\nLead the business cadence for the organization, including WBRs, QBRs, leadership reviews, performance reporting, and governance forums that improve clarity, accountability, and decision-making.\nDrive strategic and cross-functional initiatives across, including program expansion, inorganic integrations, capability-building efforts, and other priorities tied to growth and operating performance.\nPrepare executive-ready narratives, recommendations, and materials for business reviews, steercos, leadership meetings, and other forums.\nIdentify risks, dependencies, and organizational gaps early, and help leadership teams put in place the structure, ownership, and mechanisms needed to keep initiatives on track.\nEvaluate new opportunities to extend shipping capabilities, including service-based models, strategic partnerships, and other growth vectors.\nWhat you will bring\nExperience in chief of staff, strategy, business operations, consulting, general management, or a comparable leadership role\nProven track record supporting a senior executive or business leader in setting priorities, driving alignment, and translating strategy into execution.\nExperience leading operating cadences, business reviews, strategic planning, and cross-functional governance in a large, matrixed organization.\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, executive-level materials and influence senior stakeholders.\nProven ability to lead through ambiguity, anticipate issues, and influence without direct authority.\nExperience in marketplace, shipping, logistics, trust, operations, or other sophisticated customer-focused environments. \nPreferred qualifications\nExperience supporting business leaders through market expansion, integration work, capability-building, or new business model development.\nFamiliarity with pricing, economics, customer experience, or program governance in a marketplace or service business.\nAdditional Details\nThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:\n$162,800 - $244,000Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
