As the Manager, Product Strategy & Operations, you will change our processes by using AI tools to automate and improve operations. You will report to the Director of Product Strategy and Operations and collaborate with product leads, engineering, Finance, and program and product operations teams to deliver seamless execution and pivotal initiatives.\nWhat You Will Do\nManage product strategy and operations for your designated area (about 45%)\nCoordinate the operating cycle for one or two product areas, ensuring cadence, cross-team dependencies, launch readiness, and reporting are strictly managed.\nMonitor regulatory, risk, and partner requirements, identifying constraints, owners, and deadlines.\nConduct weekly operating reviews and monthly business reviews, ensuring each concludes with clear decisions and ownership.\nProactively advance any commitments at risk, providing data and viable options.\nAutomate your own work (at least 30%, protected)\nDevelop agents and workflows that gather status updates, flag at-risk commitments, and generate recurring reports.\nAutomate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and share successful methods with colleagues.\nDocument guidelines in a playbook to ensure widespread adoption.\nTrack and report hours saved and error rates per workflow.\nSupport planning and the portfolio (about 15%)\nPrepare priority intake, goal frameworks, and theme-level funding requests for your area's planning cycle.\nCoordinate your area's commitments with the revenue plan together with Finance.\nMeasure outcomes (about 10%)\nDefine success criteria at launch and perform post-launch assessments with product leads.\nAdhere to shared reporting standards, proposing changes where necessary.\nWhat You Will Bring\n4 to 7 years of experience in product operations, program management, business operations, strategy, or a technical role within a product or technology organization.\nProven track record in managing cross-team delivery, including collaboration with external partners or regulated launches.\nDemonstrated ability to develop tools or agents that provide significant time savings.\nProficient in LLM APIs, SQL or Python, and workflow tools.\nSkilled in communicating with senior leaders about potential risks and providing data-driven solutions.\nMeticulous in reviewing model outputs to ensure accuracy.\nStrong writing skills, presenting conclusions upfront.\nHow We Will Measure Success\nPercentage of projects in your area completed within the scheduled timeframe.\nDecrease in days from approved idea to funded, staffed start in your area.\nPercentage of outcome assessments completed for launches within your region.\nNet hours delivered back to program and product teams each quarter.\nAdoption rate of the tools you develop among colleagues.\nAdditional Details\nThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:\nC$102,800 - C$137,200Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
