Design and develop elegant technical software solutions to customer problems. Develop highly available, scalable user facing software applications and RESTful public APIs. Test and deploy software code in a continuous manner. Execute as part of a cross-functional agile team that rapidly delivers iterative value to customers. Operate within eBay’s internal open-source community where a variety of projects and codebases are shared. Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships, and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation. Contribute to technical conversations and debates and decide upon approaches and tools to utilize. Evangelize, mentor, and promote engineering best practices throughout the company.
