You will partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, tax, and operations to architect modern, scalable platform capabilities that elevate trust, efficiency, and reliability for millions of users.\nWhat you'll do\nDefine & Drive Strategy: Partner with payments, finance, operations, and business units to discover high-value platform opportunities and translate them into a clear product vision.\nArchitect Scalable Solutions: Collaborate closely with engineering to build reusable, API-based charging, invoicing, and transaction workflows that support diverse global use cases.\nLead Execution: Write clear, high-quality product requirements and user stories, set measurable success metrics, and manage end-to-end rollouts across complex multi-system dependencies.\nPrioritize for Impact: Balance trade-offs between innovation, platform resilience, risk mitigation, and execution speed to maximize partner and customer value.\nOptimize with Data: Leverage operational metrics, analytical insights, and partner feedback to continuously evaluate product performance and guide rapid iteration.\nChampion Quality & Trust: Proactively identify risks, resolve complex cross-functional alignment blockers, and continuously elevate product quality and platform experience.\nWhat we're looking for\nPlatform Product Experience: 3+ years in product management, with a proven track record of shipping technical, platform-based products.\nFinTech / Payments Foundation: Practical experience in payments, billing, invoicing, or related financial transaction processing environments.\nTechnical Execution: Strong ability to translate business capabilities into technical requirements and partner effectively with engineering teams on architectural choices.\nAnalytical Rigor: Skilled in using data to quantify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure product performance metrics.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of driving consensus across matrixed teams.\nBonus\nHands-on experience with API-based architectures, eCommerce platforms, or large-scale multi-sided marketplaces.\nFamiliarity with financial reporting, ERPs, revenue recognition, tax integrations, or controllership domain workflows.\nExposure to compliance, audits, or billing-adjacent platform domains.\nAdditional Details\neBay is an equal opportunity employer.
