This position is hybrid, requiring physical attendance at least three days each week.\nIn this role, you will help implement operational audits throughout eBay Inc. You will collaborate with global audit team members and partners across different time zones. Your work includes performing control testing, identifying control gaps and business risks, and contributing to meaningful, outcome-focused audit results.\nThis position reports to the IA Manager and plays a key role in strengthening audit execution and collaboration across our global Internal Audit organization.\nThe ideal candidate is analytical, diligent, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to contribute beyond meeting requirements.\nWhat you will accomplish:\nComplete operational audit programs, including control build and operating efficiency testing, following Internal Audit methodology.\nCollaborate with Internal Audit team members across regions to implement and complete audit engagements, including working across time zones as needed.\nIdentify control weaknesses, process gaps, and business risks, then convert risks into clear, actionable audit issues and recommendations.\nEvaluate AI-enabled technologies and processes to identify control gaps and determine whether AI-related risks are appropriately governed and managed. \nDraft audit documentation and findings, and support the preparation of clear, concise, and impactful audit reports.\nFacilitate issue tracking, validation of remediation, and timely closure of audit findings.\nBuild, use, and continuously improve AI-enabled tools and capabilities to enhance audit execution, efficiency, and effectiveness. \nContribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and find opportunities to improve audit efficiency and value to the organization.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n4+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, risk management, finance, and/or business operations.\nProfessional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent preferred.\nKnowledge of business workflows and internal controls, along with the skill to pinpoint control gaps and areas for improving operations.\nKnowledge of AI-related risks and controls, including AI governance, data management, privacy and security, access, change management, and monitoring. \nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, solution-focused approach.\nDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate audit results to diverse collaborators across functions, regions, and levels (including senior management).\nProven ability to manage multiple audit assignments and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.\nProactive, driven by achieving goals, and collaborative working style, with a strong focus on quality and accountability.\nHigh attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.\nAbility to travel occasionally, as business needs require.\nAdditional Details\neBay is an equal opportunity employer.
