We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.\nJoin a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers - and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.\nWe are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the high-growth eBay Live organization - one of eBay's top strategic priorities - helping scale a new and innovative interactive shopping experience for our global customers.\nIn this role, you will own delivery of cross-functional programs across eBay Live, partnering with Engineering, Product, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Business teams to drive execution, manage dependencies, and maintain alignment.\nThe ideal candidate operates independently, brings strong technical acumen and strategic thinking, and has a proven track record of delivering medium to large complexity programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.\nScope of Ownership and Impact\nLead one or more projects with medium to large complexity.\n\nOperates independently within function and with guidance to contribute to a larger program.\n\nWhat You Will Accomplish\nDrive end-to-end delivery of medium to large cross-functional programs, owning scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes across Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business teams.\n\nEngage engineering partners in technical discussions, architecture conversations, and release planning to support successful program delivery.\n\nLead planning for assigned programs; define timelines, milestones, and dependencies while coordinating cross-functional teams to maintain execution momentum.\n\nAlign technical execution with business goals; define and track product requirements, prioritize based on impact and dependencies, and maintain documentation and roadmaps.\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements; drive best practice adoption and introduce scalable operational efficiencies across the organization.\n\nOwn program reporting - status dashboards, risk registers, dependency tracking, and mitigation plans - to ensure proactive stakeholder visibility and decision-making.\n\nApply strategic thinking to connect execution to program intent; anticipate risks and blockers and proactively drive course corrections.\n\nCommunicate with clarity and confidence across audiences; lead cross-functional meetings, use structured storytelling to build alignment, and deliver data-driven updates that surface risks and decisions.\n\nDrive cross-functional alignment; bring the right stakeholders together, navigate conflict constructively, and build trust through consistent follow-through.\n\nAnchor programs to measurable customer and business outcomes; use data and feedback loops to validate value and challenge plans that deliver output without impact.\n\nChampion user value in prioritization; model eBay's values and contribute actively to the TPM craft and community.\n\nWhat You Will Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n5+ years leading cross-functional technical programs in product and technology organizations.\n\nProven track record delivering programs end-to-end - concept through launch - with strong program planning, risk management, dependency management, and release coordination skills.\n\nSolid understanding of system design and technical trade-offs; ability to engage credibly with engineering partners and bridge technical and business perspectives.\n\nDeep expertise in Agile methodologies, program governance, risk management, and operational excellence.\n\nPractitioner-level experience with AI and GenAI tools (ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini, Glean, NotebookLM, Claude) and workflow automation platforms to drive productivity at scale.\n\nAdvanced proficiency with Jira, Airtable, Confluence, and Google Workspace; proven ability to build dashboards, reports, and decision-enabling workflows.\n\nStrong analytical mindset; leverages data and metrics to drive decisions, validate outcomes, and identify improvement opportunities.\n\nSound judgment in escalating issues and adapting to shifting priorities; proven stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple organizational levels.\n\nDemonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where adaptability, ownership, and strategic thinking drive success.\n\nAdditional Details\nThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:\nC$102,800 - C$137,200Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
