Job Summary:
This role suits someone with a strong business focus who thrives in cross functional teams, balancing commercialjudgement with structured contract governance across a defined Business Unit or cluster of Business Units.
Contract and Bid Management
- Lead the commercial workstream for RFP, RFI and RFQ responses, coordinating input from Sales, Delivery, Finance and Legal.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, amendments and renewals under Legal Counsel supervision.
- Coordinate pricing inputs, align with financial models and margin targets, and support submission of compliant, competitive proposals.
- Negotiate terms and coordinate approvals for bonds, guarantees and other tender requirements. Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for Legal, Sales, Finance and Delivery on contracts and bids.
- Prepare management briefings, contract materials and risk assessments.
- Clarify responsibilities, commercial guidelines and escalation routes across departments.
- Keep stakeholders informed of relevant legislative or contract changes. Process and Governance
- Ensure all bids follow internal approval workflows and financial governance requirements.
- Support maintenance of contract and tender repositories, dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, pricing tools and contracting playbooks.
- Provide early warning of potential issues and escalate as needed.
