Our ability to meet deadlines and budgets, along with our extensive expertise, allows us to play an active role in large-scale projects such as the Samuel-De-Champlain Bridge, the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), and the Site C hydroelectric power station near Fort St. John, BC.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport project teams in the development, updating, and monitoring of project schedules using industry-standard planning software (Primavera P6 and MS Project), while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and industry standards. \nParticipate directly in the development of complex schedules for major projects.\nBe responsible for planning activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bid preparation and design through procurement and project delivery.\nEnsure effective communication among all stakeholders involved in project delivery and work closely with project teams.\nPromote and standardize the use of project schedules through the development of project management practices and scheduling culture across projects.\nIntegrate all required information to enable detailed tracking of every phase of project execution.\nPrepare weekly or on-demand progress reports and performance indicators (SPI, CPI).\nDevelop cash flow curves and lead the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) within Primavera P6.\nMonitor baseline schedules (reference schedules) against actual progress.\nPrepare the planning section of the monthly project progress report.\nEnsure the effective dissemination of schedule-related information, including schedule evolution, critical path status, delays, data analysis, and impacts on project delivery.\nDemonstrate advanced proficiency with scheduling software while maintaining close collaboration with operations teams throughout all project phases (bidding, execution, and claims management) to optimize and enhance business processes.\nIdentify and monitor the project critical path.\nDevelop project schedules and distribute them to the appropriate teams.\nCoordinate planning activities with other team members.\nEnsure compliance with project management best practices.\nAttend meetings related to planning and scheduling activities.\nAttend site meetings as required.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Planner/Scheduler.\nStrong expertise in Primavera P6 (essential) including the use of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and coding\nsystems. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity.
