This\nrole is responsible for coordinating QA/QC activities, conducting inspections,\nmanaging documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications,\ncodes, and standards.\nThe coordinator works closely\nwith construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party inspectors,\nproviding technical support and ensuring quality requirements are consistently\nmet throughout project execution.\nKey Responsibilities: \nQuality Coordination &\nDocumentation\nSupport the development, implementation andmaintenance of the Project Quality Plan and QA/QC procedures.\n\nDevelop and manage Inspection & Test Plans,checklists, and inspection schedules aligned with construction activities.\n\nReview contract documents, specifications, drawings,and submittals to identify quality requirements and risks.\n\nInspections & Testing\nConduct field inspections for civil, structural,architectural, and building systems work.\n\nCoordinate material receipt, traceability, andverification processes.\n\nConfirm compliance of third-party testing agencieswith project requirements.\n\nTrack and analyze inspection and test results.\nNonconformity & Corrective\nAction Management\nDocument observations, deficiencies, andnonconformities.\n\nWork with site superintendents & subcontractorsto implement corrective actions.\n\nEscalate major quality issues to the Project QualityLead.\n\nStakeholder Coordination\nCoordinate the review and verification ofsubcontractor and supplier Quality Plans, ITPs, and quality documentation.\n\nFacilitate pre-installation and pre-activity meetingswith subcontractors and suppliers.\n\nMonitor compliance, conduct quality audits, and workwith subcontractor or supplier to resolve non-conformances and maintain\naccurate records.\n\nSupport client and consultant audits and respond toquality-related inquiries.\n\nMaintain transparent communication with constructionteams and external stakeholders.\n\nContinuous Improvement &\nReporting\nMonitor quality records and KPIs, identify trends,and support improvement initiatives.\n\nCapture lessons learned and share insights with theproject team.\n\nAssist with quality close-out activities, ensuringcomplete turnover documentation.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree or technical diploma in civil engineering,construction management, architecture, or related discipline.\n\n6-8 years of experience in construction qualitymanagement.\n\nStrong understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs, andconstruction documentation.\n\nExperience interpreting construction contracts,specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and constructionquality documentation systems.\n\nStrong communication, collaboration, andproblem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and exercise soundjudgment.\n\nRegular on-site presence required. \nLocally resides in Napanee, Kingston or Belleville is considered an asset. \nDesired Profile\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.\nStrong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinaryteams.\n\nPractical, transparent communicator with strongfollow-through.\n\nResourceful and effective in a dynamic constructionenvironment.\n\nBenefits\n4 weeks' vacation per year;\nComprehensive group insurance program;\nRRSP group program with an employer contribution to a DPSP;\nEmployee assistance program;\nContinuing education;\nActive social club;\nFriendly and stimulating work environment;\nLarge scale projects;\nCorporate Clothing Program upon hiring.\nIn accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is $6 0,000-$105,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity.
